Great Projects | Career Development | Queenstown Lifestyle
Are you an ambitious Project Manager looking to take the next step in your career? Perhaps you're currently working as a Project Coordinator, Assistant Project Manager or Junior PM and feel ready for more responsibility?
We're working with a well-established and highly regarded project management consultancy in Queenstown that's looking to bring a talented junior to intermediate-level Project Manager into its growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced industry professionals, gain exposure to a variety of interesting construction projects and continue developing your project management career in one of New Zealand's most exciting locations.
The Opportunity
You'll be joining a supportive and experienced team, working across a range of construction and property projects throughout the region.
The role will offer plenty of variety, with the opportunity to get involved in projects from the early planning and design stages right through to construction and completion.
You'll be working closely with clients, consultants and contractors, taking on increasing responsibility as your experience and confidence develop.
What We're Looking For
Ideally, you'll bring:
- Around 2-5 years' experience in construction or property project management.
- Experience working within a consultancy, client-side or contractor environment.
- A relevant qualification in construction management, engineering, architecture or a related discipline.
- Good communication skills and the confidence to work with a range of project stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- A genuine interest in developing your career within project management.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone with the right attitude, ambition and enthusiasm to learn. You don't need to know everything, but you should be keen to get involved, take ownership and continue developing your skills.
Why Consider This Opportunity?
There's plenty to like about this role:
- Interesting Projects: Exposure to a diverse range of construction and property developments.
- Career Development: Work alongside experienced Project Managers who will support your professional growth.
- Real Responsibility: An opportunity to take ownership of projects and develop your client-facing experience.
- Great Team Environment: Join a professional, collaborative and supportive consultancy.
- Queenstown Lifestyle: Build your career while enjoying everything the region has to offer.
Interested? If you're currently working in project management and feel ready for the next step, this could be a great opportunity to progress your career.
Equally, if you're considering relocating to Queenstown and would like to understand more about the local construction market, I'd be happy to have a confidential chat.
