An exciting opportunity has become available for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established project management and infrastructure consultancy based in Wellington.
Working alongside an experienced team, you'll provide commercial support across a diverse range of infrastructure projects throughout the Lower North Island. With a strong and growing pipeline of secured work, this is an excellent opportunity to broaden your experience while working with high-profile public and private sector clients.

The Opportunity
As an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor, you'll play an important role in the commercial success of a wide range of infrastructure projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing cost estimates, budgets and project forecasts.
- Contract administration and commercial management.
- Managing variations, progress claims and financial reporting.
- Procurement and tender evaluation.
- Cost planning and risk management.
- Working closely with Project Managers, consultants and contractors.
- Building strong relationships with clients and key project stakeholders.
This is primarily an office-based role, with regular visits to project sites across the Lower North Island.
About You
We're keen to hear from candidates who have:
- Around 3-7 years' Quantity Surveying experience.
- A background in civil infrastructure, construction or engineering projects.
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
- Experience with contract administration and cost management.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A relevant Quantity Surveying or Construction qualification.
