A strong opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established commercial construction team in Wellington.

This role would suit someone with around 4+ years’ experience who enjoys being involved across the full commercial process and wants to continue developing within a stable, high-performing environment.

You’ll work across a varied portfolio of commercial projects and be involved from pre-construction through to delivery, working closely with experienced project and commercial teams.

The role You’ll be responsible for a broad range of commercial duties including:

• Estimating, measuring and preparing budgets
• Tendering and subcontractor procurement
• Managing variations, claims and progress payments
• Cost forecasting and financial reporting
• Supporting projects through pre-construction and delivery
• Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers

Experience measuring concrete and carpentry works would be an advantage.

About you We’re looking for someone who brings:

• A relevant Quantity Surveying qualification
• Around 4+ years’ experience in commercial or multi-residential construction
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• A practical, team-focused approach
• The confidence to take ownership of your work and build strong relationships
