The Opportunity
This is a hybrid commercial role that combines both estimating and quantity surveying responsibilities. You'll be involved from tender stage through to project delivery, working closely with project managers, clients and subcontractors to ensure successful commercial outcomes.
This position would suit someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership of their work and wants to be part of a collaborative, down-to-earth team.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing competitive estimates and tender submissions
• Cost planning and feasibility pricing
• Procurement of subcontractors and suppliers
• Contract administration
• Variations, progress claims and cost reporting
• Financial forecasting and project cost control
• Working closely with delivery teams to maximise project performance

About You
We're keen to hear from professionals who have:

• Previous Quantity Surveying and/or Estimating experience within the New Zealand construction market
• Experience delivering commercial construction, fit-out or interior projects
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• A proactive approach and the confidence to work autonomously
