An established and highly respected consultancy is seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join their growing Auckland team. With a strong reputation across the New Zealand property and construction sector, this business continues to secure a steady pipeline of commercial, residential, education and public sector projects.

The Role
You will be involved across a broad range of building surveying and consultancy services, working closely with clients, contractors, consultants and property owners. The role offers a diverse workload and exposure to a variety of projects throughout Auckland and wider New Zealand.
Responsibilities may include:

• Building condition assessments and reporting
• Defect investigations and diagnostic reporting
• Due diligence surveys
• Maintenance planning and asset assessments
• Contract administration and project involvement
• Client liaison and stakeholder management
• Technical reporting and professional advice

About You

• Experience working within building surveying or related consultancy environments
• Intermediate to Senior level experience preferred
• Chartered status highly regarded, although professionals working towards chartership are strongly encouraged to apply
• Strong technical knowledge of New Zealand building practices and regulations
• Excellent communication and report writing skills
• Ability to manage client relationships professionally
• Motivated, proactive and team-oriented approach
