A leading commercial construction contractor is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their Hamilton team. The Opportunity
Based in Hamilton, you will play a key role in the successful financial delivery of commercial construction projects, working closely with project teams to ensure strong cost control and contractual management from start through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Project financial management and cost control
• Administration of building contracts and subcontractor packages
• Procurement, letting, and management of subcontractors
• Variations management and final account negotiations
• Supporting project delivery teams to achieve best practice outcomes

About You

• 3-5+ years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a main commercial contractor
• Proven experience delivering commercial construction projects
• Strong understanding of NZ construction contracts and commercial processes
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• A team player who takes ownership and pride in their work
