About the Role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the successful financial delivery of projects, working closely with experienced project teams from procurement through to final account.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Financial management and cost control of construction projects
- Preparing and managing budgets and cost-to-complete forecasts
- Managing subcontract procurement, variations, and progress claims
- Supporting project delivery teams with commercial advice
- Maintaining accurate financial reporting and project systems
About You
You will be career-driven, motivated, and eager to continue developing within a leading commercial contractor environment.
To be considered, you will have:
- 3-4+ years' experience in commercial construction in New Zealand
- A Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or similar
- Strong understanding of NZ construction contracts
- Excellent financial and commercial acumen
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Good systems skills, with experience in Jobpac or similar highly regarded
- Advanced Excel skills
