Ready to take the next step in your structural engineering career? We're seeking two accomplished professionals to join a respected Auckland-based structural team delivering landmark projects across New Zealand and beyond.
 
About the Roles
This highly regarded group works across a diverse portfolio of projects - from high-performance commercial buildings and large-scale industrial complexes to educational, healthcare, transport, and heritage facilities. Current and upcoming projects include airports, hospitals, stadiums, hotels, and seismic upgrades of iconic community assets.
 
We're recruiting:
Senior Structural Engineer: For an experienced professional (8+ years) who thrives on delivering complex projects and enjoys mentoring others.
 
Principal Structural Engineer: For a strategic technical leader ready to shape project direction, guide teams, and influence design outcomes on major developments.
 
What You'll Do

• Lead and contribute to the structural design of new and existing building developments, with a focus on seismic design aligned with current New Zealand Standards.
• Undertake detailed analysis, modelling, and peer reviews using leading design tools.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership, supporting and developing younger engineers.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to achieve practical, high-quality design outcomes.
• Oversee the construction phase where required, ensuring technical compliance and design integrity.

About You

• A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Chartered status (CPEng) or near completion.
• 8+ years' experience for the Senior role; 12+ preferred for the Principal role.
• Strong experience across seismic, commercial, industrial, and educational building design.
• Outstanding communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with clients and project partners.
