An established and highly reputable commercial construction business based in Kedron, Brisbane is seeking an experienced Estimator / Contracts Quoting professional to join its close-knit team. The Opportunity
You will be responsible for pricing and securing commercial construction projects, working closely with clients from initial enquiry through to tender submission. The role combines office-based estimating with site visits and client interaction, offering variety and ownership across the full tender lifecycle.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Preparing accurate and competitive project cost estimates and tenders
• Attending site visits to assess scope, risks, and pricing requirements
• Managing enquiries and RFIs throughout the tender phase
• Documenting bid and tender meetings, including action items
• Producing high-quality, well-presented tender submissions
• Maintaining an organised and up-to-date tender documentation database
• Supporting business development by identifying and pursuing new opportunities

About You

• Tertiary qualification in Construction, Quantity Surveying, Costing, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience as an Estimator within the commercial construction sector
  (experience in roofing, plumbing, or trade-based commercial projects is well regarded)
• Confident reading plans, completing take-offs, and using estimating software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail with a professional approach to documentation and presentation
• Well organised, proactive, and solutions-focused
• Current clean driver’s licence for site and client visits
