Construction and Technical Recruitment (CTR) are working with a leading local construction developer who is seeking an experienced Interiors Project Manager to lead the fit-out of an 18-level apartment block in West Auckland. This is a hands-on project management role covering all aspects of the fit-out, from pre-planning through to construction, with opportunities for further projects in the pipeline upon completion.
 
The Role
You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end fit-out process, coordinating subcontractors, overseeing site activities, and ensuring the project is delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will also manage all related documentation and reporting, using systems such as Procore and MS Project.
 
Key responsibilities include:

• Full management of the interior fit-out from pre-construction planning to completion
• Coordinating and managing subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
• Monitoring programme, budgets, and resources
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety, quality standards, and contractual obligations
• Managing project documentation, reports, and progress tracking through Procore and MS Project
• Acting as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, consultants, and the client

About You

• Minimum 10 years of construction experience, with a strong background in interior fit-outs or residential high-rise projects
• Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and site teams
• Strong understanding of project documentation, reporting, and software tools such as Procore and MS Project
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Solution-focused, proactive, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines

• Salary package: $145,000 - $160,000 depending on experience
