Construction and Technical Recruitment (CTR) are picking up some excellent Auckland based opportunities. We now require a senior project manager to work on a variety of new build project in the Auckland region.

Our client is a niche professional consultancy with experience with a variety of projects from aged care/residential/commercial and sub division, with business interests throughout the Auckland region and some further south. They have experienced some solid growth, even during these interesting covid times and with that have developed a need for further highly skilled staff.

The immediate focus for this role will be an aged care facility and sub division work, with a future potential to delve into other commercial and residential projects throughout the Auckland region. 

The Role
The need is for a Senior Project Manager who can manage larger scale projects. The ideal candidate will be a highly presentable, professional who is comfortable and natural at liaising with clients and stakeholders, while ensuring that contractual partners are ensuring the delivery of projects.  

Duties

• Ensure that deadlines during the construction process are met
• Continue the companies stellar reputation with health and safety
• Manage and show leadership to stakeholders and wider team members
• Maintain the high performance, customer focused culture has produced not just great results, but the right results

Skills and Experience

• 10+ years experience in Project Management, preferably in Industrial/commercial construction
• Completion of a relevant tertiary degree, or alternatively an advanced trade qualification and relevant industry experience
• A high level of proficiency with Microsoft software, specifically MS Project
