Construction and Technical Recruitment (CTR) have an opportunity for a career an ambitious quantity surveyor to enhance their skills and develop their career.  this is a superb opportunity to get 2025 back on track again and set yourself up for 2026 with some comfort. 

An opportunity has arisen with a local Wellington contractor who require a quantity surveyor to join the commercial team. They require a quantity surveyor who can come in and make things happen. You will have the drive and motivation to be the bet you can and push the project to financial success. You'll need to be comfortable running your part of the project on site, but you'll have the support of the more senior staff if required. 

To be part of this growing QS team, CTR are looking for candidates with at least 3 - 5+ years experience. Ideally you must have great local knowledge and understand the New Zealand construction process/contracts.

What we are looking for in an applicant :

• Related construction/commercial qualification
• 3-5 years plus experience 
• New build or refurb project exposure ($5 million to $30 million)
• Knowledge of letting sub-contractor contracts
• Monthly reporting skills
• An ability to process claims and variations 
• Strong communication skills with external and internal stakeholders
