Construction and Technical Recruitment (CTR) are seeking an experienced Construction Quantity Surveyor to join a great Wellington team. Leading a small team,  managing interesting projects throughout New Zealand. If you have a strong background in running your own projects and you are ready for the next step or just a change in environment, then this could be the perfect role for you.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple projects ranging from $500k to $4 million.
• Mentor and motivate the exisiting QS team
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
• Oversee all aspects of the commercial process from procurement to payments, claims, variations, contracts admin, cost reporting to final accounts.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors and suppliers to maintain strong working relationships and seizing the opportunities
• Monitor project progress and address any issues that may arise. 

Requirements:

• Related Construction Qualification 
• Minimum 6 - 10 years experience (3 Must be in New Zealand min)
• Proven experience working on live sites and office based roles, specifically in the commercial and industrial sectors.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage multiple project budgets with a small team
• Ability to travel when required (1-2 days a week)
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
