ABOUT THE ROLES
We're seeking talented Geotechnical Engineers to join our clients expanding team across New Zealand's North Island. With positions available at both intermediate and senior levels, this is your opportunity to advance your career with a leading consultancy that values technical excellence and innovation.
 
INTERMEDIATE ROLE: $97K-$115K
Perfect for geotechnical engineers with 3-5 years' post-graduate experience who are ready to take on more responsibility and develop their technical expertise further.
 
SENIOR ROLE: $115K-$133K
Ideal for experienced geotechnical professionals with 5+ years' experience, ready to lead projects and mentor junior team members while continuing to expand their technical capabilities.
 
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

• Apply cutting-edge geotechnical analysis methods and software
• Design foundations, slope stabilisation measures, ground improvement techniques and retention structures
• Work alongside our Geotechnical Lead on diverse and challenging projects
• Deliver technical reports and recommendations to clients
• Develop geotechnical solutions for a wide range of infrastructure developments
• Support business development and proposal preparation 

YOUR EXPERTISE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• BEng/BSc Civil (Geotechnical) qualification
• CPEng accreditation or actively working towards it
• Strong understanding of soil mechanics and earthquake engineering
• Proficiency in liquefaction, lateral spreading, settlement assessment, earth pressure calculations, slope stability analysis, and bearing capacity evaluation
• Knowledge of NZ design codes and earthquake engineering practices
• Experience with volcanic soils (advantageous)
• Excellent communication and report writing abilities
• Client-focused approach and collaborative team spirit
• Valid driver's licence
• Current NZ work visa or residency
