Calling Experienced Building Services Managers! Deliver a Landmark Project in Napier

Are you a seasoned Building Services Manager with a passion for delivering complex projects from the ground up? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, site-based environment and possess the technical expertise to oversee all building services packages? We're partnering with a main contractor to secure a highly capable Building Services Manager for a significant new development in the vibrant city of Napier. This is a fantastic chance to take ownership of all building services aspects for approximately the next two years, leaving a lasting impact on the local landscape.

What you'll be doing:
You'll be the driving force behind the successful delivery of all building services on this major project. This is a hands-on, site-based role where you'll be responsible for:

• Providing expert leadership and coordination for all building services packages, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fire protection, and communication systems.
• Ensuring seamless integration of these services throughout the construction process.
• Working closely with the services consultants, the main contractor's wider project team, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Driving quality, safety, and efficiency across all building services installations.
• Proactively identifying and resolving any technical challenges or coordination issues.

What you'll bring to the table:
We're looking for an experienced and results-oriented individual who can hit the ground running ideally starting in June. To be successful in this role, you'll ideally possess:

• A relevant Tertiary Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• A minimum of 6 years of proven experience within the building services sector.
• While experience working directly for a main contractor is highly advantageous, we will also consider candidates with a strong track record gained within a subcontractor environment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships at all levels.
• Experience in green star or sustainability driven projects would be beneficial
