Construction and Technical Recruitment (CTR) have an opportunity for a career an ambitious quantity surveyor to enhance their skills and develop their career.  A great opportunity to get 2025 back on track again. 

An opportunity has arisen with a local Auckland contractor who require a quantity surveyor to join the commercial team. They require a quantity surveyor who can come in and hit the ground running. You will have the drive and motivation to succeed and push the project along. You'll need to be comfortable running your part of the project on site, but you'll have the support of the more senior staff if required. 

To be part of this QS team, CTR are looking for candidates with at least 5+ years experience. Ideally you would have great local knowledge and understand the New Zealand construction process.

What we are looking for in an applicant :

• Related construction/commercial qualification
• 5 years plus experience 
• New build or refurb project exposure ($5 million to $30 million)
• Knowledge of letting sub-contractor contracts
• Monthly reporting skills
• An ability to process claims and variations 
• Strong communication skills

The projects are South and North Auckland, therefore you must be comfortable travelling to this area. This is permanent opportunity, but a fixed term / project base option could also be possible.
