About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor or Senior Estimator to join our client’s team in Sydney. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your expertise in utilities projects across Australia.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in water infrastructure projects.
 
Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage accurate cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for utilities projects.
• Conduct detailed project cost analysis, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
• Oversee procurement processes, including tender evaluations and supplier negotiations.
• Monitor project expenses, identify variances, and implement cost-control measures.
• Prepare and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with regulations and project requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering professional growth.
• Maintain comprehensive records of contracts, changes, and project documentation.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in quantity surveying or estimating, specifically in water utilities projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, cost management, and industry standards.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver results within a budget.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in construction software and tools is highly desirable.
• Must have the right to work in Australia 
• A degree in quantity surveying, construction management, or a related field is essential.

 Whats on offer:

• Competitive Salary: Offering a yearly salary range of AUD $110,000 – $150,000 ($120,000 - $170,000) depending on experience.
