About Us
EPEC Group is a nationally recognised high-voltage engineering and EPC partner, providing HV power engineering, EPC (for substations, lines and BESS BoP), testing and compliance services, along with market modelling, SCADA and Hardware-in-the-Loop capability.

Since being founded in 2019, EPEC has grown rapidly to become a trusted delivery partner on some of Australia's most complex renewable energy projects, from 400 MW solar farms and 200 MW battery storage systems to 330 kV substations delivered for international developers entering the Australian market for the first time. Founded by specialists in power system engineering, project delivery and generator compliance, our mission is to simplify the grid connection process and remove the uncertainty that costs projects time and money.

We manage connections to the National Electricity Market (NEM) through end-to-end solutions, from pre-enquiry through to connection, registration, testing, compliance and commercial operations. What sets EPEC apart is that everything is delivered in-house: power system modelling, EPC construction, SCADA, commissioning and compliance testing, all under one roof and one point of accountability.

The Role
EPEC Group is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the planning, execution and completion of SCADA projects within our SCADA team in South Brisbane. You will coordinate across engineering, procurement and construction teams, help manage schedules and budgets and support compliance with technical and safety standards.

This role is well suited to someone with a solid grounding in project administration who is looking to build their career within high voltage and renewable energy infrastructure delivery.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing project plans, schedules and budgets for SCADA projects, and help identify and manage risks or delays.
• Coordinate with SCADA engineering, procurement and construction teams to keep project components on track.
• Track SCADA project deliverables such as design documentation, test records and handover packs.
• Provide administrative support at project start-up, including travel coordination and tender submission data.
• Support invoicing, budget tracking and cost control functions for the project team.
• Maintain document management systems and process correspondence, contractor claims and governance paperwork.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to help verify compliance with technical, safety and quality standards.
• Assist in the allocation and tracking of project resources, including personnel, equipment and materials.
• Build strong working relationships across the delivery team, clients and external stakeholders.

About You

• 3+ years of experience in project administration or coordination.
• Proficiency using Pronto or a similar system for project activities such as work orders, procurement and estimates.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with well-developed interpersonal and negotiation ability.
• A strong ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Exposure to SCADA, substation or renewable energy projects is well regarded, though not essential.
• Exposure to project management study or a related qualification is well regarded, though not essential.
• Availability for national travel and occasional work away from home, based on project demand.
• Comfortable working across both office and field-based environments as required.
