About Us
EPEC Group is a nationally recognised high-voltage engineering and EPC partner, providing HV power engineering, EPC (for substations, lines and BESS BoP), testing and compliance services, along with market modelling, SCADA and Hardware-in-the-Loop capability.
Since being founded in 2019, EPEC has grown rapidly to become a trusted delivery partner on some of Australia’s most complex renewable energy projects, from 400 MW solar farms and 200 MW battery storage systems to 330 kV substations delivered for international developers entering the Australian market for the first time. Founded by specialists in power system engineering, project delivery and generator compliance, our mission is to simplify the grid connection process and remove the uncertainty that costs projects time and money.
We manage connections to the National Electricity Market (NEM) through end-to-end solutions, from pre-enquiry through to connection, registration, testing, compliance and commercial operations. What sets EPEC apart is that everything is delivered in-house: power system modelling, EPC construction, SCADA, commissioning and compliance testing, all under one roof and one point of accountability.
The Role
We are seeking a Bid Coordinator to support the development and execution of high-quality, compliant and strategically aligned proposal submissions that drive our continued growth. Based at our South Brisbane office, you will work closely with subject matter experts, project teams and business development personnel to deliver tailored proposals that meet client expectations and align with company strategy.
This is a hands-on coordination role, ideal for someone who is comfortable juggling competing priorities across multiple stakeholders, and who wants to build a career in bids and proposals within a fast-growing renewable energy and infrastructure business.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end proposal development, including planning, writing, formatting, reviews and submission.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across technical, commercial, legal and leadership teams to gather content and ensure responses align with client needs and company strategy.
- Ensure proposals meet all compliance, branding and submission requirements.
- Schedule and facilitate review meetings to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Support post-submission clarifications and documentation.
- Maintain a centralised library of templates, case studies, bios and past submissions, keeping content current and accessible.
- Use document and project management tools (e.g. SharePoint, CRM, proposal software) to streamline workflows, and help refine internal proposal processes and SOPs.
- Review submission and compliance documentation, and track and report on proposal outcomes to inform future performance.
- Provide high-level administrative and coordination support across the tendering process, and contribute to a collaborative, supportive team environment.
About You You will bring strong organisational and written communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Experience in bids/proposals, administration, business development or a similar role
- Experience developing and coordinating high-quality proposals and tender submissions
- Proven experience using systems, the Microsoft suite and technology to enhance ways of working
- Experience working with stakeholders across different teams to gather information and ensure consistency in messaging
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with high attention to detail in written work
- A degree in a related field, certifications in proposal writing, and exposure to the mining, construction or resources industry are all a plus, but are not essential
