About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Officer (AP/AR) to join our Brisbane Head Office. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in managing accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable

• Process and verify supplier invoices accurately and on time
• Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies
• Manage payment runs (EFT/BPAY/cheques)

Accounts Receivable

• Monitor incoming payments and maintain accurate records
• Manage invoicing and follow up on outstanding receivables

Reconciliations & Reporting

• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve issues
• Assist with month-end processes and accruals

Stakeholder Management

• Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve queries
• Build strong working relationships across the business

Compliance & Improvement

• Ensure GST compliance and accurate financial records
• Support process improvements and system enhancements

ABOUT YOU
 
You are a detail‑focused finance professional with strong technical skills and a proactive approach. You bring:

• A bachelor's degree in business or accounting
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a finance or accounting role
• Strong proficiency with financial systems, Excel, and accounting software
• Excellent time management, organization, and problem‑solving skills
• High attention to detail and a commitment to financial accuracy
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
