ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a proactive and highly organised HSEQ Administrator to provide essential administrative and coordination support to the HSEQ team and project delivery teams across active project sites. This role supports the implementation and ongoing management of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality systems and initiatives, ensuring documentation, reporting and compliance processes run smoothly and efficiently. This is a permanent, full-time position working in our South Brisbane office. You will:
- Support the rollout and upkeep of HSEQ plans, systems and documentation across project sites.
- Provide administrative support to the HSEQ team, including document control and maintaining registers.
- Coordinate inspections, audits and risk assessments, including logistics, recording findings and tracking actions.
- Manage onboarding and training processes, ensuring all HSEQ-related compliance documents, inductions and records are completed.
- Assist with incident reporting, including preparing documents, entering data and monitoring follow-up actions.
ABOUT YOU The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Occasional travel may be required depending on project needs, with work carried out across both office and site locations.
- 1-2 years of administrative experience, ideally in HSEQ or project-based environments.
- Certificate III or higher in Business Administration, WHS or related field, plus a White Card.
- Strong communication skills and high attention to detail with accurate data and document management.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and able to prioritise tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Able to work well with a range of stakeholders and willing to travel when required.
- Desirable: knowledge of ISO standards, experience with HSEQ systems exposure to high-risk industries, First Aid/CPR, or additional HSEQ training.
