ABOUT THE ROLE
We're on the lookout for a Projects Commissioning Lead to take charge of pre-commissioning and commissioning activities across our HV Grid Connection projects. This role suits someone who thrives on leading from the front, solving technical puzzles, and keeping things running smoothly from design all the way to handover.
You will be the go-to person for technical guidance, project controls, and ensuring quality commissioning documentation. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, support client relationships, and help shape the next generation of commissioning talent through mentoring and leadership. You'll also get stuck into tenders, cost forecasting, and help grow our commissioning capability across the EPEC Group.
This is a high-impact role where your guidance and expertise will enable our team of engineers and technicians to be hands on across Hold Point Testing, OEM Vendor Debugging and Regulatory Reporting. Most of your time will be in the Brisbane office, with site visits required on an ad-hoc basis as you see needed — so no long stints away from home. Expect roughly a 70/30 office-to-site split.
