ABOUT THE ROLE
Lead cutting-edge SCADA and Communications systems across high-impact infrastructure projects. As EPEC Group’s SCADA & Controls Manager, you will lead a high-performing team of approximately 10 engineers to deliver technical excellence, innovation, and successful outcomes across our current and future energy projects. This opportunity will see you:
- Oversee the planning, development, and delivery of SCADA and Communications systems across all EPEC projects.
- Provide technical leadership and ensure alignment with project requirements and industry standards.
- Lead and manage multiple SCADA projects, including scoping, resource planning, scheduling, and issue resolution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors from bid to execution.
- Partner with the Construction Manager to ensure on-site activities align with design specifications and collaborate with the Lead Designer to guide the production of design deliverables and ensure quality compliance.
ABOUT YOU - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, eligible for membership with Engineers Australia as a Professional Engineer.
- Proven experience in SCADA systems design and delivery, ideally within the energy, resources or infrastructure sectors.
- Proven experience managing complex HV projects, including electrical design (preferred, not essential).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of engineering codes, regulations, best practices, and performance standards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- A passion for continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing.
- Valid Construction White Card.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
