THE ROLE

As our Contracts Manager, you will lead the contractual management of EPEC’s EPC projects and ensure alignment to EPEC’s risk profile, strategic goals and core values. You will be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks associated with upstream and downstream contracts while ensuring full compliance with legal and industry standards. Your comprehensive experience with construction contracts will underpin your ability to analyse, draft, review and manage contracts ensuring that all contractual documentation is precise, clear and legally sound.

Collaboration with the ability to work closely with internal teams, subcontractors and clients, fostering strong working relationships and ensuring that any contractual disputes are resolved efficiently will be paramount. By implementing best practices in contract management, you will contribute to process improvement and explore innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and risk management.

You will be proficient at understanding commercial contracting principles and actively managing issues as they arise. The ability to manage contract changes, claims and disputes with integrity and professionalism, enhancing EPEC Group's reputation as a fair and reliable partner will be essential.


ABOUT YOU

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Engineering, Construction Management or a related field
• Proven track record in contract management roles within the energy industry
• Demonstrate a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, with a deep understanding of contract law, risk management, negotiation and dispute resolution.
• Possess exceptional communication, negotiation and analytical skills, coupled with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
• Thrive in a dynamic environment, adept at managing competing priorities, driving results, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation
• Proficiency in project management software and tools coupled with a comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards
