About the Role

As a key member of the survey team, you will play an essential role in delivering best-in-class surveying services at Crinum Mine. In this position, you will work independently within a small, dynamic team, showcasing your commitment to safety and your ability to embrace challenges with strong problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide critical surface and underground survey services, including the drafting and updating of mine plans.
• Produce transparent, verified, and timely reports that align with the mine's objectives.
• Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and integrity of survey data.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills in building and maintaining strong relationships with various stakeholders, including team members, management, and external parties.

Key Qualifications and Attributes for the Role

• Tertiary or Diploma qualification in Surveying.
• Minimum 2 years of Surveying experience in underground coal mining operations.
• Exposure to Leica instrumentation, Trimble GPS and Autocad (desirable).
• A strong commitment to safety practices and a proactive approach to identifying potential hazards.
• Proven expertise in surveying, with the ability to work autonomously and deliver high-quality results.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, crucial for building lasting relationships with stakeholders and contributing to the mine’s success.
