We are currently recruiting for a Medium-Term Mining Engineer for one of our clients based in Bowen Basin. You will join a new, established, diverse team with a strong reputation and genuine culture. To be successful in this role, we seeking candidates with the below:

• Proven record in open-cut coal mining operations.
• Territory of Mining Engineer Qualification or equivalent.
• Medium-term planning experience, or someone with Short-term experience who wants to bring his career to the next level.
• Document and report generation, including presenting to key stakeholders.
• 2+ years of experience in an open-cut coal mining environment.
• Dedication to zero harm and HSE throughout the project
• Australian working rights.

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine medium-term mine plans (1-3 years) for the open-cut coal operation.
• Work with other departments to ensure targets and goals are met
• Create and manage detailed schedules to meet production targets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and operational performance
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, health and safety standards, and all local mining laws.
