About the Role

The Electrical Coordinator position is highly proficient in all applications relating to electrical works, diagnosis of faults, statutory compliance and can be replied upon to supervise Electrical Personnel to perform these functions with minimal supervision and direction.

The Electrical Coordinator is also required to provide leadership and coaching to less experienced members of the Maintenance team.

Responsibilities:

• Planning and coordinating of electrical maintenance which includes statutory, routine, and perspective maintenance.
• Maintain compliance with site policies and procedures at all times.
• Statutory compliance and lead improvement of site operating and engineering standards.
• Actively contribute to the forecasting and scheduling of electrical maintenance activities and projects.
• Overseeing Underground and Surface Infrastructure electrical components, equipment, and personnel.
• performance to ensure productivity requirements are met.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work autonomously as required.
• Coaching and mentoring electrical trades to ensure best practice guidelines are understood and adhered to.
• Ensure executive activities are conducted safely and cost – effectively.

About You
The successful candidates will have the following:

• Trade Qualified Electrician (Qld Licensed).
• Previous experience working in an underground coal mining operation.
• Current CPR/LVR Certificate.
• Standard 11 Induction Statement of Attainment.
• Current C Class QLD driver’s license.
• Well-developed electrical maintenance skills on a wide range of mining equipment.
