The Opportunity
  
An exciting opportunity now exists at Gregory Mine open-cut operation for an experienced Haul Truck Operator to join the team. The position is focused on the safe production, supporting the site in achieving our production objectives and maintaining an excellent culture.
  
About You
  
You will be a team player who prioritises safety whilst understanding your role and how you impact upon the achievement of team objectives. You will be able to prioritise tasks and work without supervision if required and maintains compliance with site policies and procedures at all times.
  
To be successful in this role, you will possess

• Proven experience operating in an open cut coal mining environment.
• Demonstrated experience operating haul trucks, preferably electric haul trucks.
• Experience hauling both overburden and coal in a production mining environment.
• Current RII Statements of Attainment for relevant equipment.
• Site-authorised training transcripts.
• Current Standard 11 certification.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence.
• A strong commitment to safety, with the ability to proactively identify, report and manage hazards and incidents.
• Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude, with a desire to contribute to a strong site culture and achieve team objectives.  

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate haul trucks in a production mining environment.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and report equipment defects or maintenance requirements.
• Follow site production schedules and dispatch instructions to achieve operational targets.
• Identify and report hazards while maintaining a strong safety focus at all times.
• Contribute to a productive and collaborative team environment.
