About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Health, Safety, Training & Wellbeing Coordinator to support and coordinate health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives at our Crinum Underground mine. Key Responsibilities

• Day to day function duties as required by the SHMS, direction of the Superintendent – Health, Safety, Training & Wellbeing, or as needed to address operational priorities
• Positively influence and advise leaders and workers on health and safety matters, requirements under H&S legislation
• Lead and deliver health, safety and wellbeing advice and service, enabling positive outcomes for employees and leaders - driving effectiveness, fostering cultural maturity, and delivering uplift of health, safety, and wellbeing performance
• Provide a visible field presence in the operations of the mine demonstrating HSTW as a priority and competence in completing infield HST activities (workplace observations, planned task observations, hazard identification)
• Maintain sound knowledge of current legislation, policies, guidelines, and standards
• Provide advice, training, consultation, monitoring for compliance on site, to support stakeholders and ensure all relevant H&S legislation, policies and procedures are implemented
• Ensure implementation and execution of Safety Health Management System (SHMS), Injury Management and Workplace rehabilitation, Safety Health Management System Document Controller, Safety system and data management, Health & Hygiene Schedule and Assist in the facilitation of incident investigations and coaching others in the requirements of ICAM  

About you

• Proven H&S experience in an Advisor/ Coordinator role within a mining environment
• Formal H&S Qualifications (minimum of Diploma)
• RIIRIS301, RIIWHS301, RIICOM301 + RIIRIS402
• ICAM or equivalent incident investigation Qualification
• Formal Auditing Qualification such as Diploma Quality Auditing or equivalent is desired
