Our client – one of the Tier 1 Mining Companies - is looking for an energetic, experienced Mining Engineer with a high level of safety and a can-do attitude. This role is a permanent role reporting to the Technical Service Manager. 
 
 
Key Responsibility:

• Prepare and maintain short-range mine plans and operational schedules to support daily and weekly production targets.
• Liaise with operations and technical services teams to ensure planning assumptions and operational constraints are accurately captured
• Provide clear and practical guidance to production crews regarding mine plans, priorities, and schedule changes
• Monitor mining performance and complete regular plan versus actual analysis to support continuous improvement initiatives
• Identify opportunities to optimise mine productivity, equipment utilisation, and operational outcomes
• Promote and uphold strong safety standards through active leadership and engagement with site personnel.

About you:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering.
• Proven experience in Open and Cut Coal mining or relevant (Coal highly regarded).
• Excellent communication, both verbal and written.
• Meticulous high-driven individual with a strong work ethic and demonstrated a high level of safety commitment.
