Our amazing client is looking for a qualified Senior Mining Engineer to join as a key member of their Technical Service team responsible for planning, scheduling and budgeting to deliver efficient coal production. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Short-term planning. 
• Medium-term planning. 
• Monthly reconciliation.
• Assist with 5-year and long-term planning. 
• Lead, plan, organise, manage, and control all compliance requirements.
• Assistance in other areas of Technical Service as required (gas drainage, geotechnical, ventilation, survey).

About You:

• 5 years's experience in underground coal mining.
• Ability to work in team environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage workload and satisfy stakeholder expectations regarding deadlines.
• Computer skills - Microsoft suite, Deswik mine scheduling and design software, AutoCAD/Vulcan.
