What You’ll Be Doing:

• Own and deliver short-term mine plans, ensuring alignment with the overall production strategy
• Work closely with operations, technical services, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution
• Mentor and support junior engineers, sharing your knowledge to build capability across the team
• Identify areas for improvement and contribute to smarter, safer, and more efficient processes
• Keep up to date with best practices and apply them to drive innovation across the site
• Build strong working relationships internally and externally, becoming a key point of contact in your space

What We’re Looking For:

• A background in Mining Engineering, with proven experience in short-term mine planning (open-cut preferred)
• Strong technical capability in Deswik (or equivalent software)
• A collaborative approach, with great communication and influencing skills
• Demonstrated ability to work safely and drive safety-first behaviours
• Leadership through action — someone who’s respected on site because they lead by example
