We have an exciting opportunity for an innovative and engaging teacher to join our vibrant and well-resourced Commerce faculty ideally from Term 1 2025.  You will have the opportunity to build positive relationships and create transformational experiences for students, helping them to reach their full potential. With small class sizes, our teachers can engage more with students and dedicate time to supporting their overall growth and are themselves supported through professional development opportunities.
  
Key Responsibilities:  

• Teach and inspire students in the field of Commerce, including Economics, Business Studies, and Accounting
• Foster a positive learning environment through innovative and engaging teaching methods
• Prepare students for academic success, including examinations and assessments
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of educators and staff  

Qualifications:  

• Relevant degree and teaching qualification
• Proven experience in teaching Commerce at secondary level
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for nurturing young minds and preparing them for a successful future

Applications are welcome from candidates that have significant curriculum expertise in teaching Business Studies to Year 13, and pedagogical expertise in teaching Commerce up to NCEA Level 3 and Scholarship.  The ability to teach International Baccalaureate (IB) is an advantage but not essential.   Please state other teaching subjects in your application.
