St Peter’s School is looking for a dynamic Swimming Development Coach to join our world-class aquatic environment.

About the Role
As our Development Coach, you will balance high-energy coaching with strategic administration. You’ll be the sole coach for the Vikings Swim Squad, taking full ownership of their technical development and performance.
  
Key Responsibilities Include:

• Lead Coaching: Cultivate a "body-mind-spirit" culture within the Vikings squad while delivering elite technical season planning.
• Innovation: Design and launch exciting new programs, including a Masters Program for adults and a School Fitness Program for non-competitive students.
• Digital Leadership: Manage swimmer data and onboarding through iClassPro, ensuring a seamless experience for families.
• Event Management: Lead the charge in organizing and delivering our Club Mini Meets.
• Safety & Mentorship: Maintain gold-standard safety protocols and lead lifeguard training sessions.  

Who You Are
You are a "self-starter" who thrives when given autonomy but enjoys the camaraderie of a wider sports department. You don’t just coach laps; you track progress, analyse data, and provide swimmers with a clear pathway to excellence.
  
What You Bring:

• Experience: A proven track record in squad coaching and program design.
• Technical Savvy: Proficiency in iClassPro (or similar club management software).
• Qualifications: Swimming NZ Coaching qualifications (or equivalent), a current Lifeguard Qualification, and valid First Aid/CPR.
• Flexibility: Availability for morning and afternoon sessions, plus weekend meets.
