We are looking for an enthusiastic EAL Assistant to join our vibrant and well-resourced Language faculty. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to be involved in supporting our diverse learners and teaching staff.

Key responsibilities for the role include:
- Supporting teaching staff with resource adaptation, vocabulary lists, etc.
- 1:1 and small group tuition
- In-class support and liaising with teachers regarding strategies
- Supporting/conducting testing of new and returning students
- Administration tasks such as updating Kamar
Position requirements: - Proven experience working with EAL learners across CEFR levels, range of year levels, and different cultural/language backgrounds
- TEFL training (or similar)
- An understanding of the New Zealand curriculum, NCEA and IB
- Experience working as a part of a team to support a common goal
