We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic House Director to join our pastoral team. This is a unique opportunity for an individual with a passion for student wellbeing, leadership and boarding life. 
  
The Role:
As House Director, you will play a key role in shaping the boarding experience for students. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the boarding house, ensure the welfare and safety of students and foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment where boarders can thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the pastoral care and supervision of boarders in your house
• Foster a warm, structured, and respectful boarding environment
• Collaborate closely with teaching staff, parents, and support teams
• Oversee daily routines, behavioural standards, and house events
• Manage and mentor boarding staff within the house

Preferred Candidate:

• Proven leadership and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience working with young people in an educational or boarding setting
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Empathetic, approachable, and committed to student wellbeing
• Willingness to be fully involved in the life of the boarding community
• Relevant First Aid and safeguarding qualifications (or willingness to obtain)
• Teaching experience and qualification preferred
