What's the Role :

With your exceptional management skills as a Site Engineer – Contractor Safety Management, you will manage the appointed contractors for the delivery of work within the terms of a contract in Coimbatore and will be the main person to ensure the requirements of the Contractor Management Standard are met, engaged by Bradken’s procurement requirements. 
 
You will provide cradle-to-grave support in identifying reasonably foreseeable HSEE risks and helps in the assessment of the contractor’s HSEE systems and performance to meet Bradken’s HSEE requirements and makes sure relevant documentation is in place. 
 
You will have the ability to work cross-functionally, in a team, and independently. You will have a high level of influencing skills and a strong aptitude to manage contractors and suppliers and maintain HSEE documentation and records, including but not limited to, Bradken’s Contractor HSEE Self-Assessment document, contractor HSEE management plans, contractor safe work method statements, and updating contractor information and documentation. 
 
As a senior member of the team, you will be monitoring, reviewing, and analysing contractor HSEE performance during the life of the contract, in much simpler terms you will be supervising on-site, and ensuring that all requirements are reviewed at least annually, and maintaining documented records associated with evaluation, onboarding, and monitoring activities. 
 
Key Technical Criteria: 
 

• Bachelor's in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering, or a Degree in Occupational Safety and Health 
• Certified Safety and Health Officer (SHO) with DOSH (Green book holder) will be an advantage. 
• Demonstrated experience in contractor/project management and multiple complex projects at the site, with outstanding safety controls. 
• Demonstrated experience in capital projects CAPEX document preparation. 
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Project), Office 365 suite, AutoCAD, CATIA 
• Excellent level of written and spoken English is preferred. 
• Demonstrated experience in handling complex and major projects for at least 5 years 
• Able to work independently, with minimal supervision and experience working in heavy industrial settings.  

   
This role will be based in Coimbatore (Onsite).
