What's the Role:
As the Product Manager - Mining (Mobile Plant), your primary mission is to revolutionise Bradken's product lines including GET, Buckets and Crawler Systems. This involves defining and articulating a compelling vision for the future, developing a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap, and establishing a robust product management framework.
You will have extensive interactions with both internal and external stakeholders, working as a cross-functional remit to deliver innovative and competitive products and serve as a touch point across Bradken functions, customers, and markets.
You will be central to the success of our core products and entire revenue stream as it combines the skills of sales, technical and operational personnel into one commercial and macro-economic driven role that will focus on the strategic decision making to maximise our ROI % and support Bradken’s overall strategy, revenue and customer satisfaction goals.
You will be proactively seeking and capitalising on growth opportunities through extensive market research, analysing competitor positioning, and exploring new geographic markets. You'll also identify and pursue strategic initiatives such as joint ventures, acquisitions, and adjacent market expansion, requiring strong negotiation and influencing skills to secure internal stakeholder buy-in. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the R&D pipeline and ensuring regulatory compliance.
You will be leveraging technology and building strategic partnerships that are essential for achieving Bradken's product vision. You'll manage relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiate favourable terms, and provide informed advice on M&A activities. You'll also identify and secure partnerships, joint ventures, and licensing agreements, ensuring Bradken's intellectual property is protected, and financial benefits are maximised.
You will be bringing new products to market requires a comprehensive approach. You'll contribute to pricing strategies, develop market entry plans, and create compelling product value propositions. You'll also provide expert advice to the wider business and manage new product revenue targets.
Additionally, you'll assist in developing product support capabilities and collaborate with the sales team to conduct product trials and gather valuable customer feedback.
