As Senior Accounting Lead, you will play a key role in the centralized accounting team, managing local accounting operations in India. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, seamless collaboration with stakeholders, and alignment with Bradken’s Vision, Mission, and KPIs to drive global financial excellence. 

You will lead your team in delivering precise financial reporting while maintaining compliance and data integrity. Your structured and disciplined approach will be crucial in meeting deadlines, optimizing financial processes, and ensuring reporting accuracy. 

With a proactive mindset, you will manage month-end activities, including the preparation and posting of general journals such as accruals, provisions, and treasury adjustments. Your commitment to precision and timeliness will drive efficient financial operations. 

With your expertise in capex cash flow forecasting, inventory management, and intercompany reconciliations will drive financial accuracy. You will be at the forefront of managing general ledger and bank reconciliations, maintaining fixed asset registers, and supporting major project appraisals. With a keen eye for compliance, you will ensure adherence to IFRS15 and IFRS16, playing a key role in precise revenue and lease reconciliations. 

You will play a key role in strengthening financial processes by developing controls and procedures to ensure data integrity, business process accuracy, and reporting consistency. Additionally, you will collaborate with treasury and sales teams to manage transactional foreign exchange hedges and oversee the preparation of J-SOX review documentation. 
  
  
Technical Criteria: 

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or Business 
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in corporate management and financial reporting, with proficiency in handling a full set of accounts. 
• Strong expertise in technical accounting, accounting systems, and internal controls, combined with commercial acumen to apply them effectively in a growing environment. 
• Experience in shared services and/or auditing is advantageous. 
• Proven experience in financial accounting, including knowledge and application of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). 
• Hands-on experience in financial management processes and systems, including forecasting, analysis, and reporting. 

   
This role is based in Coimbatore.
