As a Senior Accountant, you will work closely with sites and finance teams to ensure accurate reporting, cost optimization, and timely financial insights. Your role will be pivotal in delivering precise and timely financial reporting for Bradken and its subsidiaries, driving overall business efficiency. 

With a proactive and detail-oriented approach, you will independently and collaboratively ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements, meeting strict timelines with precision.

Your analytical mindset and structured problem-solving skills will drive accuracy in preparing and posting general journals, managing accruals and treasury adjustments, reconciling general ledger and bank accounts, and maintaining fixed asset registers. 

With a keen eye for detail and a proactive mindset, you will work both independently and collaboratively to ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements, adhering to strict timelines with accuracy. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills will be essential in preparing and posting general journals, managing accruals and treasury adjustments, reconciling general ledger and bank accounts, and maintaining fixed asset registers. 

With a keen analytical mindset, you will oversee project appraisals, inventory accounting, intercompany reconciliations, and payroll transactions. Your structured approach will ensure compliance with IFRS15 while supporting accurate capex cash flow forecasting. 
  
You will assist in standardizing global policies and procedures while contributing to process optimization and system enhancements. Supporting the implementation and effective use of the Group’s financial reporting system, you will provide expert accounting and analytical support, including ad-hoc reporting for management and internal teams.

You will be managing foreign exchange hedges in partnership with treasury and sales teams, preparing J-SOX review documentation, and taking on additional responsibilities as required 
  
Technical Criteria: 

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate management and financial reporting, with proficiency in preparing a full set of accounts. 
• Proven expertise in financial accounting, including the application of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). 
• Hands-on experience in financial management processes and systems, encompassing forecasting, analysis, and reporting. 
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, coupled with expertise in accounting systems and internal controls, with the ability to apply them effectively in a dynamic business environment. 
• Experience in shared services and/or auditing is advantageous. 

This role is based in Coimbatore.
