As an Accountant, you will work closely with sites and finance teams to ensure accurate reporting, cost optimization, and timely financial insights. Your role will be pivotal in delivering precise and timely financial reporting for Bradken and its subsidiaries, driving overall business efficiency. 

In this role, you will leverage your strong analytical skills and precision to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with established procedures. With your proactive and detail-oriented mindset, you will assist in preparing and posting general journals, including accruals, provisions, treasury, and other adjustments. 
  
You will assist with general ledger and bank reconciliations, maintain fixed asset registers, and support major project appraisals for capex, R&D, and warranty activities. Your role includes capex cash flow forecasting, inventory management accounting, and intercompany reconciliations, along with payroll data processing and compliance with financial procedures. 
  
You will assist with revenue and lease reconciliations, ensuring compliance with IFRS15 and IFRS16. Your analytical skills will drive process optimization and system improvements, while your collaborative approach will support the implementation of the Group’s financial reporting system. With a keen eye for accuracy, you will deliver financial analysis and ad-hoc reporting, J-SOX review documentation and handle additional responsibilities as needed. 
  
Technical Criteria: 

• 3+ years in corporate management and financial reporting, with the ability to handle full accounts. 
• Strong grasp of IFRS, financial management, forecasting, analysis, and reporting. 
• Expertise in technical accounting, systems, and internal controls, with commercial acumen. 
• Shared services and/or audit experience are a plus 

  
 
This role is based in Coimbatore.
