What's the Role:
In this role, reporting to the Region HSE Manager, you will support operations within your designated country and area to enhance environmental management capabilities among operations leaders at Bradken. You will stay updated on legislative and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to all National and State Environment Protection Laws and providing support in managing site hazards and risks.
You will be liaising with regulatory bodies as needed, gathering, analysing data, and providing necessary information for reporting, and offering timely support for any external audits or investigations. You will be establishing and maintaining records, files, and reports to the requirement of statutory authorities and Bradken policies/procedures.
You will assist site managers and teams in implementing compliant practices, contributing to the development and maintenance of ISO14001:2015 across Bradken Australian operations, and facilitating the implementation of environmental systems and standards. You will also be planning, delivering, and executing training programs, and coaching leaders on incident reviews and compliance activities to prevent recurrence.
You will collaborate with Bradken, Sustainability, and Quality teams to drive projects in line with strategic goals and policy development. You will be ensuring compliance activities are carried out including environmental monitoring such as groundwater monitoring and reporting, energy efficiency, pollution inventory, etc., and ensuring these are undertaken in compliance with legal requirements.
