About the Role
As the Senior Specialist - Workers Compensation and Injury Management, you will design, implement, and maintain robust systems to manage employee injuries, claims, and insurance premiums efficiently.
You will:
- Demonstrate that safety is your number one priority and foster a proactive safety culture and will actively engage with teams to ensure a safer and healthier approach to productive work, holding others accountable for their behaviors.
- Oversee relationships with insurers, case managers, and brokers to ensure effective injury management. Your customer-centric approach will help build strong relationships and deliver solutions that meet the needs of all stakeholders.
- Provide coaching to Site Managers, HSE, and HR Business Partners to enhance their capabilities and performance. By fostering a collaborative environment, you will drive a one-team mentality and ensure shared objectives are met.
- Collect and analyze data on workplace injuries to identify trends and recommend improvements. Your problem-solving skills will be crucial in developing fit-for-purpose solutions that enhance our injury management systems.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to negotiate better insurance schemes and manage cases effectively. Your ability to influence and guide others will be key in achieving the best outcomes for the company.
What You Bring - 10+ years in multi-jurisdictional management of Workers Compensation schemes and injury management systems.
- Degree or Advanced Diploma in Insurance Management or Occupational Health and Safety Management.
- Strong financial analysis, business communication, and training capabilities.
