As a Subcontract Specialist, you will manage and optimize subcontracted machining processes, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality components.
Using your expertise in manufacturing best practices and GD&T, you will oversee and audit processes to ensure all products meet specifications and quality standards, driving efficiency and continuous improvement.

Your key role aspect involves:
With your project management skills, you will oversee subcontracted machining projects, ensuring seamless execution. You’ll coordinate with teams, and manage timelines, budgets, and resources to achieve project goals.
With your expertise in Technical and Quality Assurance, you will approve drawings, provide guidance to subcontractors, uphold quality standards, and resolve issues quickly to ensure smooth project progression.
With your vendor management skills, you will evaluate subcontractors, prepare competitive proposals, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong relationships to ensure alignment on project goals.
You will proactively identify and mitigate risks, promote innovative solutions, and continuously drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness in subcontracted machining operations
With your strong financial awareness, you will manage costs while maintaining quality and proactively enforce safety standards, ensuring a secure and efficient working environment for the team.
Additionally, you will oversee documentation responsibilities, including creating SOPs for new products and maintaining IMS and EnMS documentation.
You will maintain detailed records of documents, reports, and certifications, ensuring all compliance information is up to date. Additionally, you'll track project timelines and milestones for efficient communication and progress.
