What's the Role:
As an experienced Purchasing Coordinator, the role is to ensure all customer orders are scheduled and despatched in an efficient manner to ensure conformance with our customers.
You achieve results and drive change, using data insights to deliver better purchasing and freight distribution decisions. Seeking opportunities for continuous improvement, you will steer enhancements and changes in distribution processes and systems to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the process.
With excellent attention to detail, you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of detailed records as required such as production bookings, Schedules, and all communication with both internal and external customers.
You will have outstanding communication and coordination skills liaising with Freight Forwarders to ensure the efficiency of process and timeliness of communications to provide feedback to stakeholders on shipping movements.
In addition, this role will require compilations of production schedules and daily work bookings as well as lead time reports, purchase orders, and other reporting records required.
