As a Payroll and HR Services Officer, you’ll join a global leader in mining equipment solutions, taking charge of payroll delivery and HR operations across Australia.

The Role and Your Impact:
Reporting to the HR Services Manager, you will be responsible for processing weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls, managing time and attendance systems and ensuring accurate, timely and compliant payroll outcomes. Using platforms like ADP and UKG, you’ll lead system updates, troubleshoot issues and support team leaders in maintaining clean, auditable records.
You’ll also:
- Maintain and reconcile payroll data aligned to awards, site agreements and legislation, using your decision-making skills to interpret complex requirements with confidence
- Conduct payroll audits and prepare reports, demonstrating accountability and a focus on compliance
- Manage payroll mailboxes, actioning and escalating queries promptly while communicating clearly and professionally at all levels
- Prepare employee letters (e.g., position changes), collaborating with internal stakeholders and ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Work closely with HR and Finance teams to improve processes and drive seamless service delivery, showing a One Team mindset and strong collaboration
- Apply resilience and adaptability to manage tight deadlines, shifting needs and multiple priorities with composure
About you:
You’re a payroll professional who values structure, consistency and the trust that comes from getting it right. You’re confident working with numbers, systems and people, and you understand that accuracy, service and confidentiality are non-negotiable.
You’ll also bring:
- Solid experience in Australian payroll, ideally using ADP and Kronos
- Sound knowledge of time & attendance, pay awards and local compliance
- Strong organisation, problem-solving and documentation skills
Location: Brisbane, QLD or Burswood, WA.
