The Family:
This relaxed and welcoming family of mother and son, is seeking a long-term career nanny to support their 4-year-old son. The family is looking for someone who can become a trusted and consistent part of their home and provide warm, attentive care.
The family enjoys a laid-back lifestyle and does not follow a highly structured routine. They are looking for a nanny with a similar approach who is confident going with the flow, while still providing age-appropriate guidance, encouragement and plenty of engaging activities.

Days, Hours, Start Date & Remuneration:

• Monday: 7:00am – 5:00pm (10 hours)
• Friday: 3:00pm – 8:00pm (5 hours)
• $40–$45/hr + super
• Start: Flexible
• Long-term position

The Role:

• Providing attentive and nurturing care for a 4-year-old
• Plenty of outdoor play and age-appropriate activities
• Supporting developmental learning through play and everyday experiences
• Preparing meals and meal prep
• Children's laundry and light household duties
• Tidying and cleaning up after the child
• Running occasional errands as required
• Supporting the smooth running of the household
• Travelling with the family interstate and overseas when required

The Ideal Nanny:
The family is seeking a warm, confident and experienced career nanny who genuinely enjoys being part of family life. The ideal candidate will be relaxed, adaptable and happy to follow the child's interests rather than relying on a strict routine.
Someone who enjoys outdoor play, is proactive around the home and has a natural understanding of child development will be highly valued. The family is looking for someone who can build a strong, trusting relationship and become a long-term part of their family.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' experience working with children
• Previous professional nannying experience
• Career nanny preferred
• Early Childhood Education studies or qualification highly regarded
• Confident and competent swimmer — essential due to the pool at home
• Current First Aid and CPR
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current National Police Check
• Warm, reliable and proactive
• Flexible and comfortable with a relaxed family environment
• Comfortable travelling interstate and internationally with the family
• Seeking a long-term commitment
