The Family
The Nanny Connection is looking for a warm and experienced nanny to join a lovely family in Carine on a long-term basis.
This family is kind, respectful and down-to-earth. They genuinely love spending time together and have created a calm, happy home where family always comes first. They have an energetic little one who is 9 months old and are excited to be welcoming a new baby in February.
They're looking for someone who will become a trusted part of their family – someone who brings a calm presence, a positive attitude and truly enjoys watching little ones learn and grow.
Hours: Monday to Thursday | 8:00am – 4:30pm
Pay: $35–$40 per hour + super (depending on experience)
The Role
Your main focus will be caring for their curious baby while Mum prepares for the arrival of their new baby.
The family would love someone who enjoys getting out and about, planning fun activities, exploring local parks, playgroups and libraries, and creating opportunities for learning through play. They value a nanny who understands early childhood development and naturally incorporates age-appropriate activities into each day.
As their baby arrives in February, the role will gradually evolve to include caring for both children and supporting the family through this exciting new chapter.
While the toddler is having their daytime sleep, you'll help keep things ticking along with light household tasks such as children's laundry, preparing simple family meals and keeping the children's spaces organised. The family isn't looking for a housekeeper – just someone who enjoys pitching in and helping the home run smoothly.
About You You're the type of nanny who genuinely loves working with babies and toddlers.
You bring warmth, patience and plenty of energy to your day. You're confident planning engaging activities, understand developmental milestones and know how to create a safe, nurturing environment where children feel secure, encouraged and loved.
You're organised without being rigid, happy to use your initiative and are looking for a family you can build a genuine, long-term relationship with.
