NANNY | JOONDALUP, WA (6027), AU
Location:
Joondalup, WA
The Family: A lovely family in Joondalup is looking for a warm, experienced nanny to care for their gorgeous 18-month-old toddler.
They describe themselves as a small, loving family with a busy little one who keeps them on their toes! Their home isn't built around a strict routine—some days are structured, while others are more go-with-the-flow—so they're hoping to find a nanny who is flexible, easygoing and enjoys adapting to whatever the day brings.
Mum or Dad will be working from home on the nannying days, so they're looking for someone who is confident working independently while feeling comfortable in a home where a parent is present.
They're looking for someone who genuinely loves the toddler stage, is kind, creative, and happy to become a trusted part of their family's life. A nanny who speaks both English and Spanish would be a huge bonus, as they'd love to introduce their little one to Spanish in a natural, everyday way.
Days, Hours, Start Date & Remuneration:
- Tuesday & Wednesday
- 9:00am – 3:00pm
- Start: September
- $35–$40 per hour
- Long-term position
The Role: - Providing nurturing, attentive care for an 18-month-old
- Planning fun, age-appropriate activities and outings
- Encouraging learning through play
- Preparing meals and snacks for the toddler
- Supporting naps and daily routines
- Light child-related household duties, including tidying play spaces
- Creating a safe, happy and engaging environment
The Ideal Nanny: The family is looking for someone who is kind, calm and creative, with solid experience caring for toddlers. They'd love a nanny who enjoys getting down on the floor to play, heading outdoors, reading stories and encouraging their little one's curiosity and development.
Someone who can comfortably work in a home where flexibility is key will be a great fit. Rather than being routine-focused, they're hoping to find someone who can roll with changing days without getting flustered. The ideal nanny will also be confident working alongside a parent who is home during the day while maintaining independence in the role.
Spanish speaking is highly desirable but not essential.
Qualifications & Requirements: - Minimum 3 years' experience working with children
- Previous nannying or childcare experience with toddlers
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current National Police Check
- Driver's licence and reliable vehicle preferred
- Comfortable around a small dog
- Looking for a long-term commitment
Additional Notes: This is a beautiful opportunity for a nanny who enjoys the toddler years and is looking to build a genuine, long-term relationship with a lovely family. If you're warm, adaptable and love bringing fun and creativity into each day, we'd love to hear from you.
