The Family
The Nanny Connection is currently recruiting on behalf of a warm, active, and down-to-earth family in Trigg who are seeking an experienced Nanny/Mother's Help to support their growing family.
The family have two girls aged 4 and 2, with twins due in October, making this an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to support them as they welcome their newest family members.
Family is at the heart of everything they do. They love spending quality time together, enjoying the outdoors, and creating fun, meaningful experiences for their children. They encourage their girls to be adventurous, curious, and confident while maintaining clear expectations around behaviour with a calm and consistent approach. Their friendly Golden Retriever is also a much-loved member of the family.
They are looking for someone who will become a trusted and valued part of their household and is committed to building a long-term relationship with the family.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 12:00pm
Start Date: ASAP
Commitment: Long-term position
Remuneration: $37–$50 per hour + superannuation (dependent on experience and qualifications)
The Role
This Mother's Help/Home Manager role is designed to support Mum in the day-to-day running of the household while providing nurturing, engaging care for the children.
Working alongside Mum, responsibilities will include assisting with the morning routine, caring for the children, supporting the newborn twins as needed, preparing healthy family meals, meal preparation, children's laundry, maintaining organised living spaces, and helping the home run smoothly each day.
The role requires someone who is happy to adapt as family needs evolve and who enjoys working collaboratively within a busy household.
The Ideal Nanny The family is searching for a warm, experienced, and proactive nanny who genuinely enjoys supporting young families. Newborn experience is essential, along with a calm and confident approach to caring for children.
They would love someone who values fun, creativity, and open-ended play, allowing children to explore, learn, and develop through meaningful experiences. The ideal candidate will be flexible in their approach to daily routines, understanding that each day may look a little different, and will enjoy working as part of a team alongside Mum.
A positive attitude, excellent organisation, and strong communication skills will ensure success in this role.
